How You Can Participate

There are a number of ways in which you may participate in the MERLOT Mathematics Community. We invite you to become a member of MERLOT (membership is free and simple) and take advantage of the many member benefits.

As a User, you can:

• Access and use the wealth of MERLOT's free and open educational materials and resources.

• Give conference presentations concerning how you use MERLOT materials in your teaching.

As a Member of MERLOT, you can also:

• Contribute new materials and resources--submit your favorite teaching/learning materials that you have found on the Internet; the submission form is simple and easy to complete.

• Create and contribute your own teaching and learning materials to the MERLOT collection.

• Create Personal Collections of your most-used MERLOT materials.

• Create and submit learning assignments for the materials in MERLOT.

• Become a peer reviewer (contact Jim Rutledge, Mathematics editor, at rutledge.james@spcollege.edu) and collaborate with the Mathematics Editorial Board in writing peer reviews of MERLOT math materials.

• Become a guest speaker--join the MERLOT Virtual Speakers' Bureau and offer your services and expertise to the academic community.

• Create Department Collections of materials for both full-time and adjunct faculty in your department.
