Ad Hoc Reviewers
Ad hoc reviewers are approved by the MERLOT Mathematics editors on the basis of their interest in participating in the peer review process and on their educational expertise.
Reviewers collaborate on one or more peer reviews per semester, depending on their availability and level of interest. They are also invited to take part in biweekly conference calls with the editorial board and to participate in other MERLOT activities such as the annual MERLOT International Conference (MIC).
Each ad hoc reviewer who makes extensive contributions to the editorial boards's efforts is invited to become an Honorary Associate Editor. In addition, MERLOT sends a letter of commendation to his or her department chair and dean/provost concerning the reviewer's accomplishments.
If you are interested in participating as an ad hoc reviewer, please contact Jim Rutledge, Mathematics editor, at rutledge.james@spcollege.edu |
