MERLOT-Carnegie Snapshots

Description

Snapshots are contributed by MERLOT members and are concise and informative accounts of how MERLOT resources have been used with students.

The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and its Knowledge Media Lab have partnered with MERLOT to provide access to the KEEP Toolkit, software that allows faculty to easily create snapshots of how they are using MERLOT learning materials in their teaching/learning environments and to document their usage, learning activities, learning outcomes, and recommendations for future use.

Featured Snapshots

The current featured snapshot is of the Mathematics Visualization Toolkit, a set of graphing tools and applets created by the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado--Boulder.

A second featured snapshot involves the MERLOT learning materials found at Fibonacci Numbers and the Golden Section and was created by MERLOT editor James Rutledge.
